The company

Baglioni Hotel is an Italian company that owns a chain of nine luxury hotels in Italy and around the world, namely France, the United Kingdom and the Maldives. The collection now boasts 7 exclusive hotels in the heart of Europe's art centers as well as 2 Resorts.

Requirements

To optimize the management of information systems in all the hotel locations and of their associated commercial activities, Baglioni Hotels put their trust in Aruba Enterprise to take another step towards the company's digital transformation and migrate its data to a highly redundant, secure infrastructure; more specifically, helping simplify part of the in-house IT processes and guarantee service continuity for its business.

The solution

The project included mass migration to the Cloud in order to centralize management of the IT infrastructure in offices around the world in one single enterprise-level Data Center. The solution proposed and implemented involves Aruba Private Cloud, an IaaS service that lets you create Virtual Data Centers (VDC) with virtual servers, firewalls and networks on one side and, on the other, a dedicated rack and a Colocation service with servers hosting the web and management services for all the hotels in the chain.

This means that the entire infrastructure for all Baglioni Hotels' sites is provided from a single location, which is highly redundant and protected. At the same time, the flexibility of the Cloud will help improve management of IT resources required according to real-time needs.
